Turkish President Abdullah Gul said his country is waiting for an apology from Israel and compensation for the families of Turks, who were killed by the Israeli Special Forces during the storming of humanitarian "Freedom Flotilla".
"Turkey is waiting for an apology from Israel and compensation for the families of Turks, who were killed during the Israeli special forces' attack on the international flotilla," Gul said at the UN General Assembly session.
He expressed hope that Turkey will get all the facts of the investigation into the incident to achieve compliance with UN chief document - the Declaration of Human Rights on this basis.
