Syrian Prime Minister Muhammad Naji al-Otari will join Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to chair a meeting of the Turkey-Syria High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council in Ankara on Monday, Erdogan's office said in a statement on Sunday, Anadolu Agency reported.
A total of 12 Turkish ministers and 13 Syrian ministers will take part at the two-day meeting. Syrian Assistant Vice President Hasan Turkmani will also attend the meeting.
The Turkish-Syrian joint "cabinet" meeting will discuss ways to improve relations and increase cooperation between the two neighbors. Participants will also exchange views on regional and international issues, the statement said.
Syrian delegation will also be received by Turkish President Abdullah Gul.
