'Flotilla of freedom-2' will sail to Gaza, even if Israel does not lift the embargo, Chairman of the Turkish NGO IHH-Humanitarian Relief Foundation Bulent Yildirim told reporters on Monday at a conference on plans to deliver humanitarian assistance to the Palestinians in Gaza.

"'Flotilla of freedom-2' will sail to Gaza, despite Israel's embargo," Yildirim said.

He said the IHH-Humanitarian Relief Foundation and activists of the Flotilla did not take and will not take illegal activities, their actions are in the scope of international law.

Earlier, a representative of 'Flotilla of freedom' and board member of the Fund for the Protection of Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Aid, Huseyin Oruj told Trend that the 'Flotilla of freedom-2' will be attended by representatives of 22 nongovernmental organizations. The humanitarian aid will be sent to Gaza as soon as the Turkish side will agree with the member countries of the Flotilla, he added.

The Israeli Navy attacked on the "Flotilla of Freedom" carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza on May 31. Nine Turks fell victim to a confrontation between Israeli soldiers and international human rights activists on the Turkish ship. Ankara announced a review of relations with Tel Aviv following the attack.

Ankara later demanded that Israel issue an official apology, order an independent international investigation, and pay compensation.

However, Tel Aviv stated that it will not apologize. The diplomatic relations between Turkey and Israel passed on the secondary level. Moreover, Ankara has frozen its military cooperation with Tel Aviv and recalled its ambassador.
