Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, who is on an official visit to Iran, will meet with the Shia Leader of Iraq Muqtada Al-Sadr on Thursday evening, the Turkish newspaper Zaman reported.
During the meeting initiated by Al-Sadr, the parties will discuss the situation in Iraq and the Syrian crisis.
The Turkish Foreign Minister's two-day visit to Iran began on Wednesday. Mr Davutoglu discussed bilateral, regional and international issues with Iranian officials. The situation in Syria and Iraq and Iran's nuclear programme are among these issues.
