In Turkey head of Intelligence Department Yurt Atayun and head Counter-Terrorism Intelligence of Istanbul Serdar Guldaly have been dismissed, the Sabah newspaper reported on Wednesday.
Yurt Atayun and Serdar Guldaly were dismissed under the investigation into involvement of Union of Kurdish Communities (UKC) in the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), TRT Haber TV Channel reported on Wednesday.
The case of the UKC which is considered city wing of the PKK, became to be widely discussed after a number of professors and activists were detained.
Charge of involvement in various crimes, including membership of terrorist organization, supporting terror activities and attempt of destroying the country's integrity were brought against the suspect.
