Turkish Deputy PM meets Senegal's Minister of Communication Dieye
Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc and his delegation, including the Director General and Executive Board Chairman of the Anadolu Agency (AA) Kemal Ozturk, met with Senegal's Minister of Communication Sheikh Abdoulaye Dieye in Dakar, Anadolu reported.
Representatives of media organizations of both countries participated in Arinc's meeting with Dieye.
Bulent Arinc stressed that they would cooperate with Senegal through Turksat, Anadolu Agency and TRT TV channel and develop relations in the communication field.
"Turkish-African relations have developed enormously in recent times. Turkey now has more than 30 embassies in Africa," Arinc underlined.
In his meeting with state-run Senegal Press' Director General Doubobu Sarrniag, AA Director General and Executive Board Chairman Kemal Ozturk stressed that they wanted to cooperate with the Senegal Press.
Sarrniag said that they wanted to cooperate with the AA and that experts from Turkey could train journalists in Senegal and extend support to them.
Bulent Arinc and his delegation are in Dakar to attend the "African Media Leaders Forum".
