Some 680 shops were burned down on Wednesday in a fire at a market in Ankara, TRT Haber reported.
The fire took place around midnight local time at the market Yunus Emre, known as "the Russian market".
Fire brigades are involved on the scene. No dead or injured are reported despite the damage.
Arson is called as one of the possible causes of the fire. Some 680 shops existed in the market with total area of 10,000 square meters.
