Turkey's Deputy Prime Minister Yalcin Akdogan expressed hope that the militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorist organization will completely leave the country's territory by Mar.21, 2015, Kanal7 TV channel reported on Mar.12.

Hopefully, on Mar.21, in the spring festival (Nowruz), all the problems will be resolved only through democratic means, according to Akdogan.

He added that the process of democratic settlement of the Kurdish problem that kicked off in 2009 in Turkey, has already started bringing results.

The conflict between Turkey and the PKK, which demands the creation of an independent Kurdish state, has continued for over 25 years and has claimed more than 40,000 lives.

The UN and the European Union listed the PKK as a terrorist organization.
