Turkey’s major cities suffer power blackout
Baku, Azerbaijan, March 31
By Rufiz Hafizoglu - Trend:
The electricity supply to Turkey's major cities, such as Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, was stopped at 10:36 (UTC/GMT +3 hours), the TRT Haber news channel reported March 31.
The subways in these cities also stopped working as a result of the power outage. The traffic lights also don't work, which causes traffic jams.
The causes of the power outage in these cities are being established and a work is underway to resume the electricity supply.
