Forty-five illegal immigrants have been detained in Turkey's Edirne province on the border with Bulgaria, Turkish Anadolu agency reported May 19.
The detainees are mostly Palestinian and Syrian citizens.
Previously, 330 illegal immigrants who were trying to go to Italy were detained in Turkey's Mersin province in the country's south-west.
Moreover, illegal immigrants were previously detained on a fishing vessel under the flag of Togo.
