Agreement on Turkish Stream to be signed no earlier than December

An intergovernmental agreement on the Turkish Stream will be signed not earlier than December 2015 - January 2016, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said, RIA Novosti reported.
"The Turkish government has not been formed yet," he told reporters. "The intergovernmental agreement on the Turkish Stream will be signed after the election, not earlier than in December- January."
Novak and Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Ali Riza Alaboyun held talks in Istanbul Oct. 2 as part of a meeting of G20 energy ministers.
Novak said that all issues concerning the relations between the two countries in the field of energy, namely, oil and gas, electric power engineering, nuclear industry were discussed.
Novak added that the work on the text of the agreement is underway at the level of experts and technical specialists.
"The specialists will meet next week," he said. "But this does not mean that we will fully agree. We will finally agree when a new Turkish government forms a position and a text."
