Russian Su-24 aircraft was shot down on its way to Hmeymim airbase in the territory of Syrian Arab Republic by a Turkish F-16 fighter, Russia's Defense Ministry said on Twitter Nov. 24.
"Analysis of the objective monitoring data definitely showed that there had not been any violation of the Turkish air space," the ministry said in another tweet.
