Turkey is drawing up military equipment to the border with Syria in Hatay province, the Turkish Haber7 newspaper reported Nov.24.
The decision was made after the Turkish Air Force shot down Russian military aircraft in the Turkish airspace, according to the newspaper.
The world should know that Turkey is able to protect its borders, the country's Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said while commenting on destruction of the Russian military aircraft.
Davutoglu reminded that Turkey has repeatedly said that no country is entitled to violate the airspace of the country. He said that the countries must help resolve the crisis instead of aggravating the crisis in Syria.
The Turkish Air Force shot down the Russian military plane SU-24 in its airspace Nov. 24. Both pilots managed to eject and the plane crashed on the territory of Syria.
