Turkey does not exclude the possibility of its participation in the ground military operations in Syria, if Saudi Arabia begins to carry out these operations, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said, Turkish Yeni Shafak newspaper reported Feb. 13.

The minister said that Saudi Arabia has already begun to send its aircrafts to the Incirlik air base of the Turkish Armed Forces and the sending of the country's military personnel to Turkey is also expected.

Earlier, the Turkish Sabah newspaper citing military sources wrote that Turkey does not plan to carry out a military campaign in Syria.

Some media previously reported that Turkey allegedly plans military operations in Syria and concentrates its military equipment on the border with this country.
