Turkey has started to conduct open skies observation flights over Russia with Finland, Turkey's General Staff said on Wednesday, Anadoly agency reported.
According to a statement issued by the Turkish military, the observation flights over Russia are part of the Open Skies Agreement under the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
The observation flights started on Monday and will continue till June 17.
The Open Skies Agreement was signed on March 24, 1992 in Helsinki, Finland, between 27 countries, including Turkey, participants of the OSCE.
