Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) aims to win in the first round of the parliamentary election, Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said, Turkish media reported on April 26.
Yildirim said holding early presidential and parliamentary elections in Turkey under conditions of the emergency state worries some circles.
"However, there are no legal barriers for holding the elections under conditions of the emergency state," Yildirim said.
Eleven political parties will participate in the parliamentary and presidential elections to be held in Turkey on June 24.
In the parliamentary election held in Turkey on Nov. 1, 2015, the Justice and Development Party (AKP) garnered 49.41 percent of the votes, the People's Republican Party (CHP) - 25.38 percent, the National Movement Party (MHP) - 11.93 percent, and the Democratic People's Party (HDP) - 10.7 percent.
