The US, by moving the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, once again demonstrated that it does not recognize the will of international community, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said, Turkish media reported on May 18.
Cavusoglu, addressing the summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul on May 18, noted that the US actions also greatly harm the peace process.

Istanbul has today hosted the OIC emergency meeting regarding Palestine.
Protests are underway in the Gaza Strip amid the 70th anniversary of establishment of Israel and the transfer of the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
