A mosque will be built at Istanbul's Sabiha Gokcen Airport, Trend reports referring to the airport's webpage.
The airport noted that a tender will be announced for the mosque construction on Dec. 17.
Both local and foreign companies can take part in the tender.
The total area of the mosque will be 2,000 square meters.
The construction should be completed in 2019.
Presently, there are 55 airports in Turkey and almost all of them have prayer rooms.
