Minister: 300,000 real-estate properties to be built in Turkey annually

Some 300,000 properties will be built in Turkey annually, Turkish Environment and Urban Planning Minister Murat Kurum said.
“Some 30,000 properties will be built directly through the ministry, while the rest - through the private sector,” Kurum added, Trend reports referring to the Turkish media.
He added that new rules and criteria will be created for contractors who will be involved in the process.
Earlier, it was reported that the number of permits issued for the construction of commercial and residential properties in Turkey decreased by 41.4 percent in 2018 compared to 2017.
