Turkey reveals number of real estate properties bought by Azerbaijani citizens since early 2019

In the first quarter of 2019, Azerbaijani citizens purchased 287 real estate properties in Turkey, Trend reports with reference to Turkish State Agency for Land Cadastre, Purchase and Sale.

This year, Azerbaijani citizens purchased 95 real estate properties in January, 105 properties in February and 87 properties in March. In the first quarter of 2019, most of the real estate properties in Turkey were purchased by citizens of Iraq, Iran and Russia.

“Iraqi citizens acquired 605 properties in January, 628 properties in February and 548 real estate properties in March,” the report said. Iranian citizens purchased 305 properties in Turkey in January, 307 properties in February and 334 properties in March. “The Russian citizens acquired 195 properties in Turkey in January, 236 properties in February and 156 properties in March,” the report said.

In March 2019, 105,000 real estate properties were sold in Turkey, which is 5.3 percent less compared to March 2018. Out of them, 3,129 real estate properties were sold to foreigners, which is 71.3 percent more compared to the same period in 2018.
