Turkey exported motor vehicles and tractors (including their parts) worth $2.6 billion in July 2019, the Turkish Ministry of Customs and Trade told Trend.
“The second place is held by various equipment, mechanisms and nuclear reactors (including their parts) in the amount of $1.5 billion, while iron and steel worth $879 million ranks third in the list of exported goods,” said the ministry.
It was noted that textiles come fourth at $863 million.
"Electrical goods hold the fifth place in the list of exported goods at $801 million," the ministry said.
In the reporting period, Turkish total exports increased by 7.9 percent (when compared to July 2018) and amounted to $15.16 billion. Turkey’s imports in July 2019 decreased by 8.5 percent (compared to July 2018) and amounted to $18.35 billion.
Turkey’s foreign trade amounted to $33.51 billion in July 2019.
