The trade turnover between Turkey and Uzbekistan increased by $69.667 million in July 2019 compared to July 2018 and reached $213.335 million, Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend on Sept. 10.
"Turkey exported goods worth $116.873 million to Uzbekistan and imported goods worth $96.462 million from Uzbekistan," the ministry said.
In January-July 2019, the trade turnover between Turkey and Uzbekistan increased by $218.09 million compared to the same period of 2018 and reached $1.255 billion.
"Turkey exported goods worth $655.499 million to Uzbekistan and imported goods worth $599.526 million from Uzbekistan," the ministry said.
Turkish exports grew by 7.9 percent in July 2019 compared to the same month last year and amounted to $15.16 billion, while imports decreased by 8.5 percent and amounted to $18.35 billion.
In July 2019, Turkey’s foreign trade turnover amounted to $33.51 billion.
