In January-August 2019, exports of goods from Ankara and Istanbul to Georgia amounted to $499.1 million, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Exporters Assembly.
In January-August 2019, exports from Ankara to Georgia increased by 19.09 percent, compared to the same period in 2018, and amounted to $66.4 million.
In the same period, exports from Istanbul to Georgia increased by 6.97 percent, compared to January-August 2018, and amounted to $432.7 million.
In August 2019, exports from Ankara to Georgia increased by 53.59 percent, compared to August 2018, having amounted to $9.3 million.
In August 2019, exports from Istanbul to Georgia increased by 11.21 percent, compared to August 2018, and amounted to $55.2 million.
According to the asembly, in August 2019, Turkish exports to Georgia increased by 13.60 percent compared to August 2018 and amounted to $110.840 million.
