In January-August 2019, exports from Ankara and Istanbul to Iraq amounted to $1.399 billion, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM).
Exports from Ankara to Iraq increased by 21.82 percent, compared to the same period in 2018, and amounted to $199.1 million.
In the same period, exports from Istanbul to Iraq increased by 11.83 percent, compared to January-August 2018, and amounted to $1.2 billion.
In August 2019, exports from Ankara to Iraq increased by 23 percent, compared to August 2018, having amounted to $22.478 million. The exports from Istanbul to Iraq increased by 17.40 percent, compared to August 2018, and amounted to $149.016 million.
According to TIM, in January-August 2019, Turkish exports to Iraq increased by 2.56 percent compared to the same period in 2018 and amounted to $4.693 billion.
In August 2019, Turkish exports to Iraq increased by 2.38 percent compared to August 2018 and amounted to $564.249 million.
