The access to 3,700 websites selling and advertising unlicensed medicines will be closed in Turkey, Turkish Minister of Health Fahrettin Koja said, Trend reports referring to the Turkish media.
He went on to add that these websites were fined overall for 6.3 million Turkish liras,” Koja added,
He stressed that diet products, as well as slimming products and tea to improve digestion were mainly advertised on these websites.
The minister stressed that the fight against advertising and sale of the unlicensed medicines will be intensified in Turkey.
