In January-August 2019, 19 companies with Kazakh capital were registered in Turkey, which is seven companies less compared to January-August 2018, Trend reports referring to Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
The total capital of Kazakh companies registered in Turkey in the first eight months of 2019 amounted to 3.567 million Turkish liras, while in the same period in 2018 this figure was 3.211 million Turkish liras.
In January-August 2019, most Kazakh companies (10 entities) were registered in Istanbul, with a total capital of two million Turkish liras.
During this period, seven companies with Kazakhstani capital were registered in Antalya province.
In January-August 2019, one mining company, four construction companies, and 11 wholesale and retail companies with Kazakh capital were registered in Turkey. The rest of Kazakh companies operate in other sectors of the economy.
According to TOBB, the total capital of the 11 Kazakh wholesale and retail companies registered during the reported period amounted to 1.720 million liras.
