A new cableway will be built in Turkey's Rize province, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Ministry.
According to the ministry, preparations for the construction are currently underway in the province.
A tender will be announced for the construction of the cableway after the completion of the preparatory work.
However, the ministry did not disclose the cost of the project.
The longest cableway in Turkey is located in the province of Antalya. Its length is 4.3 kilometers.
The first cableway in Turkey was built in 1963 in the province of Bursa.
