Turkey’s trade turnover with Belarus grows

In August this year, Turkey’s trade turnover with Belarus amounted to $44.301 million, having increased by $1.459 million compared to the same period last year, a source in the Turkish Ministry of Commerce told Trend Oct. 9.

“In August 2019, Turkey’s exports to Belarus amounted to $33.904 million, and imports from Belarus - to $10.396 million,” the source said.

From January to August 2019, trade between Turkey and Belarus increased by $9.906 million compared to the same period in 2018, amounting to $428.107 million.

“From January to August 2019, Turkey’s exports to Belarus amounted to $318.912 million, and imports from Belarus - $109.195 million,” the source noted.

Turkey's foreign trade turnover in August 2019 amounted to $28.6 billion.

In August 2019, Turkish exports grew by 1.69 percent and amounted to $13.1 billion, while the imports decreased by 0.27 percent and amounted to $15.5 billion compared to August 2018.
