In September 2019, a total of almost 1.3 million tons of gas oil was transported through Turkey's ports, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
According to the ministry, in September 2019, 26,654 tons of gas oil were transported through Turkish ports.
In the reported month, 71,860 tons of gas oil were transported by ships flying the Turkish flag, 76,690 tons were carried by ships flying the flag of their country of origin, while some 1 million tons of gas oil were transported by ships flying flags of other countries.
In September most of the transit cargo through the Turkish ports was transported from Italy, China, Spain, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Romania, Egypt, Greece and France.
In September 2019, the total volume of transit transshipment through the Turkish ports amounted to nearly 56 million tons.
