Turkish exports to OIC countries exceed $32B in September 2019

From January through September 2019, Turkish exports to the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) increased by 8.8 percent compared to the same period in 2018, and amounted to over $32.3 billion, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Trade Ministry.

According to the ministry, Turkey’s imports from OIC member countries fell by 16.9 percent in the reported nine-month period, compared to the same period last year, and amounted to $18.9 billion.

In September 2019, Turkish exports to OIC countries increased by 8.6 percent, compared to the same period last year, having amounted to over $3.6 billion.

According to the ministry, in September 2019, Turkey's imports from the OIC countries decreased by 6.6 percent, compared to September 2018, and amounted to almost $2 billion.

Turkey’s foreign trade in September 2019 amounted to $32.1 billion.

In September 2019, Turkish exports grew by 0.08 percent compared to September 2018, and amounted to $15.2 billion.

In September 2019, imports to Turkey increased by 0.15 percent compared to the corresponding month of 2018 and reached $16.9 billion.

From January through September, Turkey’s foreign trade amounted to $286.4 billion.
