The route of the gas pipeline laid in the direction of the Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport will be changed, Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources told Trend on Nov. 11.
“Presently, the preparation for the work is underway,” the ministry said. "The purchase and sale process of the land plots through which the gas pipeline will be laid has already begun."
The work on changing the route will be carried out by Turkey’s BOTAS Petroleum Pipeline Corporation.
However, the ministry has not specified the start date of these operations.
