From January through October 2019, Turkey exported defense industry products worth $21 million to Azerbaijan, which is 32.6 percent less compared to the same period of 2018, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Ministry of Trade Nov. 20.
In October 2019, the volume of exports of defense products from Turkey to Azerbaijan decreased by 86.7 percent compared to October 2018, amounting to $288,950.
In ten months of 2019, the volume of export of Turkish defense industry products increased by 37.5 percent compared to the same period in 2018, amounting to $2.1 billion.
In October 2019, exports of Turkish defense industry products increased by 35.8 percent compared to October 2018, amounting to $280.6 million.
Over the past 12 months (October 2018 - October 2019), exports of Turkish defense industry products grew by 35.5 percent compared to the same period in 2017-2018 and amounted to $2.6 billion.
Turkey’s export grew by 1.6 percent and reached $137 billion from January through October 2019 compared to the same period of 2018.
Meanwhile, the country's export decreased by 0.3 percent and reached $15.2 billion in October 2019 compared to October 2018.
