In October 2019 volume of cargo transshipment from Russia through the ports of Turkey amounted 45 807 269 to tons.

In October 2019, the volume of cargo transshipment from Russia by vessels flying the flag of this country amounted to over 5 million tons, and the vessels flying the flags of other countries - over 38.1 million tons.
It was noted that during this period the volume of cargo transshipment from Russia by vessels flying the flag of Turkey amounted to 2.6 million tons.
"During this period, 47.6 million tons of cargo was transited from Russia through Turkish ports," said the ministry.
In October of 2019, 5,126 ships arrived in Turkish ports, while their gross-registered tonnage amounted to 69.8 million tons.
During this period, 1,852 Turkish flag vessels and 3,274 other flags arrived in Turkish ports.
The gross-registered tonnage of vessels arriving at Turkish ports under the Turkish flag for the period indicated was 10.5 million tons and foreign flags - 59.2 million tons.
From January through October 2019, the Turkish ports took in 46,607 vessels, the gross-registered tonnage of which was 660.7 million tons.
From January through October 2019, 17.853 vessels flying the Turkish flag and 28,754 vessels flying the flags of other countries arrived in Turkish ports.
