In October 2019, 108,023 tourists from Israel and the United States visited Turkey, Trend reports with reference to Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey.
In October 2019, 55,907 tourists from Israel visited Turkey, which is 59.83 percent more than in October 2018.
“Tourists from Israel amounted to 1.30 percent of the total number of foreigners who visited Turkey during this period”, the message said.
From January through October 2019, 492,248 tourists from Israel visited Turkey, which is 28.04 percent more than in the same period in 2018.
Tourists from Israel amounted to 1.21 percent in the total number of foreigners who visited Turkey from January through October 2019.
“In October 2019, 52.116 thousand tourists visited Turkey from the US, which is 33.41 percent more than in October 2018. The share of the tourists from the US in the total number of foreigners who visited Turkey during this period was 1.21 percent,” the message said.
In January-October 2019, 507, 461 tourists from the United States visited Turkey, which is 30.97 percent more than in the same period in 2018.
Tourists from the US amounted to 1.25 percent in the total number of foreigners who visited Turkey from January through October 2019.
During this period, 1.6 million tourists visited Antalya, while 1.3 million tourists visited Istanbul.
In January-October 2019, 40.7 million tourists visited Turkey, which is an increase of 14.28 percent compared to the same period in 2018.
