In October 2019, 170,491 tourists from Georgia visited Turkey, which is 11.29 percent more than in October 2018, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey.
“Tourists from Georgia in the total number of foreigners who visited Turkey during this period amounted to 3.97 percent”, the message said.
From January through October 2019, 1.6 million tourists visited Turkey from Georgia, which is 6.97 percent less than in the same period in 2018.
Tourists from Georgia in the total number of foreigners, who visited Turkey from January through October 2019, amounted to 4.10 percent.
In October 2019, 4.2 million tourists visited Turkey, an increase of 14.28 percent compared to the same period in 2018.
During this period, Antalya was by visited 1.6 million tourists, Istanbul - 1.3 million tourists.
In January-October 2019, 40.7 million tourists visited Turkey, an increase of 14.28 percent compared to the same period in 2018.
