Turkey's income from taxation of vehicles and from the fees for the use of roads and bridges in October 2019 amounted to 194.3 million Turkish liras ($33.8 million), Trend reports referring to Turkish General Directorate of Highways.
The income from the use of road bridges in October 2019 exceeded 42 million Turkish liras ($7.3 million) and the income from the fees for the use of roads reached 152.2 million Turkish liras ($26.5 million).
“In total, over 38.8 million vehicles proceeded along the roads and bridges in October 2019,” the General Directorate said.
Turkey’s income from the taxation of vehicles and from the fees for the use of roads and bridges amounted to 1.6 billion Turkish liras ($278.5 million) from January through October 2019.
