The transshipment of cargo through the Turkish port in Bartin Province made up 17,138 tons in January 2020, a source at the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure (Turkey) told Trend.
According to the source, the ships under Turkish flag transshipped 3,397 tons, and the ships under flag of other countries – 113,741 tons of cargo
In January 2020, the cargo transshipment volume through Turkish ports was 32,955,741 tons.
In January 2020, the volume of cargo transshipment by ships flying under Turkish flag has made up over 2.42 million tons. The remaining 30.5 million tons accounted for other countries.
During January 2020, over 6.1 million tons of cargo were transported in transit through Turkish ports.
