Turkey's income from taxation of vehicles and from the fees for the use of roads and bridges in January 2020 amounted to over 189.5 million Turkish liras ($30.7 million), Trend reports referring to Turkish General Directorate of Highways.
The income from the use of road bridges in January 2020 exceeded 39.2 million Turkish liras ($6.3 million) and the income from the fees for the use of roads reached 150.2 million Turkish liras ($24.3 million).
“In total, over 35.3 million vehicles proceeded along the roads and bridges in January 2020,” the General Directorate said.
Turkey's income from taxation of vehicles and from the fees for the use of roads and bridges exceeded 2 billion liras ($325.9 million) in 2019.
