In January 2020, 83 companies with Iranian capital were registered in Turkey, which is 21 less than the same period last year, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TOBB).
The cum capital of Iranian companies registered in Turkey in January of this year amounted to 12.1 million liras ($2.01 million), against 12.137 million liras ($2.01 million) same month of 2019. In January 2020, most Iranian companies were registered in Istanbul (76 companies) with a capital of 10.8 million liras ($1.79 million).
During the reported period, 4 industrial, 2 construction, 37 wholesale and retail companies, 7 travel companies with Iranian capital have been registered in Turkey.
"Some 35 companies with Iranian capital operate in other segments of the economy," TOBB said.
According to TOBB, the cum capital of 37 wholesale and retail companies registered over the reporting period amounted to 3.7 million liras ($0.62 million).
