Another logistics center to be built in Turkey

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 26

Construction of Bogazkopru logistics center in the central Turkish province of Kayseri will begin in mid-2020, Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.

The total cost of the project is 344 million Turkish liras.

"It is planned to complete the construction of the logistics center in Kayseri province in 2022. No external loan will be used for the project," the ministry said.

Earlier, the ministry said that that 25.2 billion liras will be invested in transport and infrastructure projects in Turkey in 2020.

As many as 2,994 projects will be implemented in Turkey In 2020, including 455 projects in the field of transport and infrastructure. In total, 77.134 billion liras were allocated for all projects.

Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has said that the implementation of projects to create 12 logistics centers is ongoing.

Eight such projects are in the phase of development and tenders, while the construction of four centers continues.

Foreign contractors may take part in the construction.
