The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkey's Port of Kocaeli in Izmit province amounted to 10.9 million tons from January through February 2020, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
During the reporting period, the volume of cargo transshipment through the Port of Kocaeli by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 720,847 tons, and by ships flying the flag of other countries – to 10.2 million tons.
The volume of cargo transshipment via Port of Kocaeli by transit amounted to 127,503 tons during the reporting period.
From January through February 2020, the volume of cargo transshipment through the Turkish ports reached 62.5 million tons.
During the reporting period, the volume of cargo transshipment through the Turkish ports by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 2.7 million tons, and by ships flying the flag of other countries – 55.2 million tons.
According to the ministry, 12.5 million tons of cargo were transited through Turkish ports.
Some 29.5 million tons of cargo were transported through the Turkish ports in February 2020.
In February 2020, the volume of cargo transshipment by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 2.2 million tons, and by ships flying the flag of other countries – 26.2 million tons in February 2020.
Some 6.4 million tons of cargo were transported through the Turkish ports in February 2020.
