Cargo transshipment volume from Israel via Turkish ports in 1Q2020 disclosed

Cargo transshipment from Israel via Turkish ports amounted to 3.9 million tons from January through March 2020, Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend on April 15.

The volume of cargo transshipment from Israel via Turkish ports by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 397,334 tons, while the cargo transshipment by ships flying the flags of other countries stood at 3.4 million tons from January through March 2020.

According to the ministry, over the reporting period, 78,307 tons of cargo were transported by ships flying the Israeli flag.

In 1Q2020, 284,818 tons cargo from Israel was transited through Turkish ports.

During the reporting period, the volume of cargo carried by ships via Turkish ports amounted to over 94.6 million tons.

According to the ministry, the volume of cargo transported by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 7.4 million tons from January through March 2020.

The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying the flags of their countries amounted to 3.9 million tons, while the cargo transshipment by ships flying the flags of other countries stood at 83.1 million tons from January through March 2020.

Over the reporting period, 18.4 million tons of cargo were transited through the ports of Turkey.

The volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports amounted to 32.1 million tons in March 2020. The volume of cargo transported by ships under the Turkish flag amounted to over 2.8 million tons.

In the reporting month, the volume of cargo transshipment through Turkish ports by ships flying the flags of their countries amounted to 1.3 million tons, while cargo transshipment by ships under the flags of other countries stood at 27.9 million tons.

According to the ministry, 5.9 million tons of cargo was transported in transit through the ports of Turkey in March 2020.
