Some 10,958 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Azerbaijan in the first quarter of 2020, which is 4 percent more than in the same period of 2019, Trend reports on May 18 referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND).
"For the reporting period, 2.96 percent of the total volume of cargo transportation by trucks from Turkey accounted for Azerbaijan," the association said.
According to the association, 2,497 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Azerbaijan in April 2020, which is 10 percent less than in April 2019.
"From January through April 2020, 2,831 Azerbaijani trucks transported cargo to Turkey, which is 34 percent more compared to the same period of 2019, and 576 Azerbaijani trucks transported cargo to Turkey in April 2020, which is 9 percent less compared to April 2019,” UND said.
In total, 369,978 trucks from Turkey transported cargo abroad from January through April 2020, which is 8 percent less compared to the same period of 2019.
Some 79,909 trucks from Turkey transported cargo abroad in April 2020, which is 23 percent less compared to April 2019.
