As many as 7,076 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in the first five months of 2020, which is 13 percent less than in the same period of 2019, Trend reports referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND) on June 26.
"For the reporting period, 1.54 percent of the total volume of cargo transshipment by trucks from Turkey accounted for Nakhchivan AR," the association said.
According to the association, 2,224 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Nakhchivan in May 2020, which is 17 percent more compared to May 2019.
In total, 459,738 trucks from Turkey transported cargo abroad from January through May 2020, which is 11 percent less compared to the same period of 2019.
Some 89,760 trucks from Turkey transported cargo abroad in May this year, which is 20 percent less compared to May 2019.
