The export of defense products from Turkey to Germany dropped by 32.94 percent, compared to the same period of 2019, amounting to slightly over $123.7 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
In September 2020, Turkey exported the defense products worth over $14.5 million to Germany, which is 9.54 percent less than in the same month of last year.
From January through September 2020, Turkey’s export of defense products made up 1.4 percent of the country’s total export.
In September this year, Turkey exported defense industry products exceeding $281.5 million to global markets, which is 80 percent more compared to the same month of 2019.
Meanwhile, Turkey's export of defense products amounted to 1.9 percent of the country's total export.
Over the past 12 months (from September 2019 through September 2020), Turkey exported defense products worth over $2.42 billion abroad.
