Turkey registered ninety-seven companies with Uzbek capital from January through October 2020, which is by 15 companies more than in the same period of 2019, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) told Trend.
During the reporting period, the total capital of Uzbek companies registered in Turkey made up over 10.8 million liras (more than $1.3 million), as compared to more than 6 million liras ($760,000) in the same period of last year.
Meanwhile, most of the Uzbek companies were registered in Istanbul (34 companies) with a total capital of over 4.2 million liras ($530,000).
Three of the companies were industrial companies, three were construction companies, 25 were engaged in wholesale and retail trade, and two in real estate sales.
"The remaining companies with Uzbek capital operate in other sectors of the economy," TOBB said.
