The Turkish port of Kocaeli received 769 ships during January 2021, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey told Trend.
According to the ministry, in the mentioned month, 241 ships out of the total number of ships received at the Kocaeli port flew the Turkish flag, and the rest - flags of other countries.
In total, in January 2021, Turkish ports received 4,002 ships, including 1,218 ships flying the Turkish flag.
At the same time, 2,784 ships, which were received at the ports of Turkey, sailed under the flags of other countries, the ministry said.
