The US Ford Motor Company suspends its activities in Turkey, Trend reports citing Turkish media.
As reported, the company's activities will be temporarily suspended from April 3rd to 9th due to a shortage of electronic chips.
Turkey ranks sixth in Europe in car production. The country assembles cars of the following brands: Ford, FIAT, Renault, Toyota, Honda, Opel, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz and MAN. Besides, Turkey manufactures buses of BMC, Temsa and Otokar brands.
