The Turkish port of Ambarli had received 532 ships from January through February 2021, Turkey’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend on Mar.31.
According to the ministry, in the reporting period, among the received ships 171 flew the Turkish flag, and other 361 - flags of other countries.
Overall, in the first 2 months of this year, Turkish ports received 7,809 ships, including 2,333 ones flying the Turkish flag, the ministry said.
“The remaining 5,476 ships received by the local ports flew the flags of other countries,” added the ministry.
