The Turkish port of Samsun had received 458 ships from January through February 2021, Turkey’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
According to the ministry, in the reporting period, among the received ships 78 flied the Turkish flag, and other 380 - flags of other countries.
Overall, in the first 2 months of this year, Turkish ports received 7,809 ships, including 2,333 ones flying Turkish flag, the ministry said.
“The remaining 5,476 ships received by the local ports flied the flags of other countries,” added the ministry.
